Over the past 10 years, I have seen so many people who suffer from migraines and chronic headaches. Most of them have tried many things from all kinds of medication to diet changes. Sometimes these things help and sometimes they don’t. What I have found is there is a missing link in managing migraines and chronic headaches.

What is the missing link? The missing link is the brain and function of the nervous system. Most people suffering from migraines or chronic headaches have never had their nervous system checked. Before I get into how that all works and what we do in this office I would like to tell you a story…

This story is about a woman named Rene. She is a mom with a 5-year-old working as an engineer in Golden. Rene had struggled with migraines most of her life and was beginning to think there was nothing that could be done. She had tried many medications and interventions that only provided her with temporary relief. Even though nothing seemed to be working she somehow knew there had to be a solution. She also knew it had to be a holistic approach because the medication was only covering up the symptoms and not addressing the underlying problem.

How do you get long-lasting solutions for headaches?

Rene came to our office for a consult and we went over her health history. We told her our recommendations and how it was going to look to be a patient in the office. She agreed and left feeling cautiously optimistic. Little by little Rene slowly started to improve. First, she had less severe migraines, then less frequency of migraines, and then she wasn’t having any migraines at all.

Today she is migraine free and has been that way for 10 years! Here is Rene telling her story in her own words:

Really powerful stuff right!?

Like I was saying earlier, the most commonly overlooked aspect of migraines and chronic headaches is the brain and nervous system. In this office we specialize in checking how the nervous system functions and if there is a problem we fix it.

Our approach is very different from western medicine and traditional chiropractic. We specialize in proper biomechanics of the neck and proper neurological function. We utilize infrared thermography to test how your autonomic nervous system is functioning. If there is a problem we will make a correction. If not, then we will not give you an adjustment. Once we re-establish proper movement in your neck and restore proper neurologic function, your body can start to heal. Our main objective is to find the root cause of the problem and provide you with lasting results.
