I get this question all the time. Should I go to a walk in Boulder Chiropractor? The answer depends on what you are looking for. Are you looking to get cracked? Or are you looking for long lasting results?
If you are looking to just drop in and you want someone to just “pop” your neck and back, then you are probably looking for a walk in chiropractor. Nothing wrong with that.
If you are dealing with a chronic issue that has not gone away and you have tried many different things to resolve this problem, then I would suggest you see someone who will take more time with your case. If you want different results, then you have to try something different.
I think one of the biggest problems with chiropractic is that the general public is super confused about what we actually do. The general public tends to think of a chiropractor as someone who helps you with back pain. Yes, Chiropractic is super effective in helping people with back pain, but that is not what it is actually designed for.
This might be confusing, but let me explain. Chiropractors are doctors of the nervous system. Our goal is to get proper movement into your spine to increase your brain function. The funny thing about your brain is that it controls everything in your body, including pain modulation. If you do not have proper movement in your spine, all kinds of symptoms can manifest. These can be symptoms such as: back pain, neck pain, headaches, vertigo, numbness, sleep problems, and fatigue.
Our office is not a walk in office. We have scheduled times specifically for new patients. We block out 45 min to be able to do a full work up and analysis for each person. We see many severe cases that haven’t responded to other treatments or therapies.
If we are doctors of the nervous system, wouldn’t it make sense that we would want to do some testing and diagnostic analysis of your nervous system?
The first measurement we take in our office is an infrared thermography scan to check to see the function of your brain stem. If there is a problem, we continue with orthopedic tests and biomechanical x rays. Once we analyze all of the data we can come up with a specific plan to get you better.
Our office is not the cheapest and we don’t accept walk in patients, but we get phenomenal results. We take the time to make sure nothing is overlooked and that you are getting the highest quality of care. Every single patient receives a tailored plan for them and their needs.
I promise we will tell you if we can help you, and if we can’t, we will find an office that can. Does this sound like something you would be interested in?
